Supra

I'll try to publish all the Supra information available so I (and maybe you) can build a Supra. At the same time I'll try to publish my own Supra-way in the hope that your Supra-way will get easier.

I  want to build a Mark Dreal design. I want to build a Supra.

So I do what I always do - read about it and try to be able to understand everything detail before I start. Lots of nice people around the world have helped me a lot. Now then, where to find info about the Supra:

Charles River RC with Supra drawings and everything. Information on the Supra build on Yahoo allegro group (you have to be a member). You'll be able to se various ways of making things for your Supra - look in the files-section. Warren Man- Son-Hing (CA) has made some Supra look-a-likes streched Aegeas and has lots of info about how you can adjust the materials.
David from Austria has made an electro Supra. Information on the Supra-build on RCgroups. Tom Kiesling won the US f3j team trials 2005 with his Supras. Here you can find some info and Mark Drela comments on the Supra.

I asked Tom Kiesling how his model were made and he was very kind, and answered me.

Here you'll find my way to a Supra clon

Other links to models that can inspire you, disign wise or construction wise:
The Mantis is another bagged glider with a lot of interest on the American east coast and lots of potential. Have a look at the ESL forum. The Aegea is Mark Drelas predecessor to the Supra. The Aegea 120"/130" was designed may 2002 (you have to be a yahoo-member to acces the info). I asked Phil Barnes about the history of the Mantis/Aegea/- Supra, and here is his story.
Reto Schmid from Swizerland has made a Supra inspired "Placebo 3,1". The Genie is not a Supra, but there is lots of ideas if you want to do it different. Buy a Supra inspired Vandal from Tom Finch. (Moulded?)
Buy a Supra inspired "Thermal Dancer" from Polecat Aero / Denny Maize, USA. Buy a moulded Supra from Kennedy composites. Buy a SchpotDorker from Nesail - build by Phil Barnes and weighing 55-60 oz / 1560-1700g.
