A light fuse:
Carbon fuselage 1 layer of 49 g/m2 glass and 2 layers of carbon 93 g/m2 + reinforcements of 105 g/m2 glass around the wing. Finished weight of the rear fuselage = 126g

Normal glass fuselage

3 layers of 105 g/m2 glass in the entire fuselage length + 1 extra layer of glass from 100mm behind the pylon and forward + additional kevlar reinforcement around the pylon + 3 carbon tows top and bottom = ca. 160g for the rear fuselage part.

 We don’t measure the amount of epoxy as accurate when we make fuselages, as when we make wings. Have a Scottish attitude – be modest about the epoxy amount.
