| Graupners
new winch - nr 804 - after asking Philip Kolb, Germany:
Hi Erik!
With the Graupner winch I don't
know any details about it. I saw one during the spring one year
ago, which may have been an old one. This one didn't work well
actually. It blockaded itself under the tension of the line. And
above all these winches are definitely not constructed for
F3B-use. The cables and contacts are far too weak for that, as the
whole construction seemed to be. For club-use with gliders that don't
build up a lot of tension they maybe O.K.
But if you want to have a proper
winch, which is worth the money i sincerely would prefer the winches
made by Günther Ober. They are sufficiently strong and optimized
for F3B.
All the best:
Philip |
